If a small child is crying,
It is the adult’s role to gently say, “It’s all right”.
Sad, lonely, anxious, with tears in her beautiful eyes.
Poor little child
I want to hold her in my arms.
A fragile, loving being
You must have had a time like that too
When you were a child
You didn’t know anything yet
Pure, innocent, unconditional,
The possibilities were open to you,
When everything was so clear.
But as we live our lives
We learn all kinds of things.
You can’t do this
If you do that, you will be scolded
If you do this, you will be praised for it
Little by little
They learn social skills.
To be a good person for the SOCIETY
To live well
To become an adult who can function in human society
But why is becoming an adult so painful?
With so many scars
No more pain, no more tears
We build so many walls in our own hearts
To protect ourselves
So that they don’t have to be hurt any more
In the process of growing up
Once you take it off
You’ll find the yourself of old-time
People call her God.
God is a being that supports you unconditionally
She is the one you can trust at any time
She is the one who guides you in the direction you need to go.
Then God is inside of you.
The purity of your childhood that you abandoned as you learned to be social.
Your God is there.
Your God is not something to be prayed to.
God is something to pray to
nor some transcendent supernatural being
She is a being to be protected.
God is a being that is somehow real
It is a painful thing to face.
With much pain and tears of my own
that she has built with so much pain and tears.
Your God must be crying
Within those walls
You must go to her and comfort her
Because that’s what adults do.
Because that’s what you’re supposed to do
The only one who can always be your own North Star is yourself.
You must protect it.
Your childhood self.
If you don’t face your deepest self
You will live the rest of your life being pushed around
You have to see what is inside of you
If you don’t become a person who can take care of herself
You cannot protect others
If you want to protect others
You must first go to comfort your God who is crying
Your God must be crying
She must be feeling lonely.
I want you to say to her, “It’s all right.
That will lead to your happiness tomorrow.
It will lead to your happiness tomorrow.
